Out-of-network with Aetna, in-network with Blue Cross, UMR, Optum, Triwest (not Tricare West) and United Health Care.
Born and raised in the Mat-Su Valley, I have a real passion for the well being of this community. I enjoy working with ages 4 through 12 and utilize a combination of play therapy and EMDR. I believe that through play children process experiences, practice new skills, and grow connection with others. My practice focuses on providing a compassionate, client-centered approach, combining the power of play therapy and EMDR to meet each client where they are and guide them toward emotional healing and wellness. Whether it’s helping a child understand their feelings, working through trauma, or offering support to parents, my goal is to foster hope, resilience, and lasting change within my community and the families I work with.

My passion is working with women motivated to make a change that will positively impact them. I am certified in EMDR therapy. EMDR is a specialized therapy that allows people to heal from symptoms resulting from distressing life experiences. EMDR is shown to be more effective quicker than traditional talk therapy. It utilizes the brain's desire to heal itself just as our body seeks to heal from a physical wound (i.e., fighting infection, a scab protecting a wound, etc.).
I have a Master of Science from Alaska Pacific University in Counseling Psychology. I have worked with adolescents, families, chronic mental illness, and substance abuse. Currently, I provide EMDR Intensives (1-5 days of condensed therapy).
