Provides therapy for Adults, Children, and Teens
Out-of-network with Aetna, in-network with Blue Cross, UMR, Optum, Triwest (not Tricare West) and United Health Care.
I have worked in a variety of settings throughout my career, but my passion lies in working with preschool and elementary school children. Young children face unique challenges in learning to navigate the world around them, and benefit from having a supportive space outside of their daily lives where they can explore their inner worlds, while also learning how to interact appropriately in the outside world. I am intentional about bringing caregivers into my therapeutic work with children, with an overarching focus on enhancing attunement in parent-child relationships, as well as developing and honing secure attachments. I am dedicated to helping families navigate the challenges they face in their relationships, as I believe our relationships with our loved ones are foundational to our well-being. In my therapeutic approach, I emphasize collaboration with my clients, using a strengths-based perspective and a trauma-informed, attachment-based lens to guide our work. My ultimate goal is to aid my clients in healing their emotional wounds so that they can thrive.

My passion is working with women motivated to make a change that will positively impact them. I am certified in EMDR therapy. EMDR is a specialized therapy that allows people to heal from symptoms resulting from distressing life experiences. EMDR is shown to be more effective quicker than traditional talk therapy. It utilizes the brain's desire to heal itself just as our body seeks to heal from a physical wound (i.e., fighting infection, a scab protecting a wound, etc.).
I have a Master of Science from Alaska Pacific University in Counseling Psychology. I have worked with adolescents, families, chronic mental illness, and substance abuse. Currently, I provide EMDR Intensives (1-5 days of condensed therapy).
